Alvin - Space Shuttle of the Oceans
Wow, wouldn't this be a trip and a half? Good luck on the new model Alvin.
With the advances in remote sensing and robotics nowadays one wonders though just what the added value is of someone almost 6 miles down, peering through a very small, very thick piece of armoured glass. Many of Alvin's earlier discoveries were at a time when it was necessary to get down there cos the remote technology couldn't cope. Not so sure now.
